Well, really, a blatant plug for the Everything Wendy Vecchi Yahoo! Group...
I saw that .... quit rolling your eyes....
I've had a comment or two about posting the challenges here as well as on the Group... for those that don't necessarily want to become a group member ( I really don't know why, but, whatever, but I will say that quite a few times, I draw random entries from the challenges to win something..but that's just for the group), but are fans of Studio 490 stamps and now, Art Parts and Clearly for Art.
Any HOO...I just posted the challenge to the group, so I'm posting it here as well. If you want to make something, you can leave a link in your comment on my little ole blog on this post.
The challenge this week is based on a project on Page 20 from Wendy's first book, Make Art, Studio 490 Style. There may be some retailers that still have this available. BUT, you don't need the book to play along.
The challenge -
Use some striped paper and a rectangle frame.
Starts today and runs thru midnight, central US time, July 19. A two weeker.
The original project was a hanging, but you can make whatever you want... ATC, alter a wheelbarrow.. whatever.
The only RULES are:
You need to use AT LEAST ONE Studio 490 stamp, and the challenge theme.
So, there you have it. My piece is started, but as you can see...not completed. lol. If you have questions, you can click on the cute mutt on my sidebar to email me.

Yikes, Lori - that means I've missed two in a row..... will deffo try harder this time, honest boss!
Don't own a thing by Wendy Vecchi, so my eyes are still rolling....goodness I hope they stop soon........xx
I only have one 490 stamp, sniff, sniff. But one is one more than none!
