Traditional Studio 490...

Yep, it's more artsy stuff using Studio 490!!! You're probably beginning to think that's all the product I use, but, when I'm in a groove..I go with it. I'm not making excuses either, it's what I like Baby!

The current challenge on the EWV Yahoo Group is a four letter word....CLEAN four letter words. After perusing my inventory, which is rather extensive, I have to admit, I chose the word HOME.  In comes Studio 490 Art Part residences...perfect! And lots of Studio 490 stamps pertaining to the word. As usual, it started small and ended up being a piece that will fit in an 8 x 10 frame (which I don't have yet..might make my own). Here we go:

As usual, the photo was taken at night with a phone camera, so I see there's a stinkin' glare on the window, and unwanted shadowing, but, there you go.
Notice I have finally used some Blossom Bucket resin pieces! Yeah! I colored the flower with Archival inks, and I just love that little blackbird. The window frame is a Blossom Bucket piece as well...which I filled with stamped images and Crackle Accents.
I also used Crackle Accents on the HOUSE in the little house.

I had the idea to use the newest flourish stamps for what appears to be "smoke out the chimney", which came out rather well I think.
And, if you look really close, I stamped a tiny phrase on the roof of the littlest house, tricky, but it can be done. lol.
Oh, and the watch face on the medium sized house is...a real watch face from stash, and it was the perfect size.
Ok, off to the next project...hope you have a great weekend!

Lori...your Wendy inspired residential scene is too cute! I love the flourishes coming out if the chimneys. Now THAT is an original and very cool idea. Your Wendy inspired work is always so beautifully done. Thank you for the very nice comment you left on my blog about the metallic hot air balloon. I really appreciate it. Hugs, Candy
